Born and raised in Virginia’s historic Northern Neck, Jimmy Coates has enjoyed log home living since he
built his own on a wooded tract in Westmoreland County, Virginia, in 1984. At the time, his decision to build a log home was
inspired by the uniqueness and beauty of its design, as well as his experience in the lumber industry. Over the past 30 years he
has owned and operated a pallet manufacturing and sawmilling operation, and has designed, manufactured, and marketed precision equipment
for lumber processing. With his first-hand experience in the field, Jimmy has an extensive knowledge of wood processing from tree to finished product.
When he decided to represent and market log homes, he knew what to look for in a manufacturer: high-quality timber processing with kiln drying, an available No-Shop™ package, innovation in design, and integrity in customer service.
